What is collected and why
Visit statistics, without cookies. To count visits, this site records the pages you open, the sections you scroll to, the buttons you click, how far you scroll and for how long the page stays visible, together with coarse context: the site that sent you here (only its domain), any utm_ campaign tags in the link, your country or time zone, your browser language, the type of device, the range of your screen width, and the browser and operating system families, without versions. Nothing is stored in your browser. Your IP address is never stored: it is only mixed with your browser and a random value that is deleted every day, so visits can be counted once per day but cannot be linked across days or to you. Visits are not shared with anyone and are only seen as totals.
Analytics, only if you accept it. Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, records the pages you visit, the site that sent you here, your approximate location (country and city), your device and browser, and some interactions such as clicks on external links, the CV download and how far you scroll. It is used to know which parts of the portfolio are useful. It sets the _ga cookies.
Advertising measurement, only if you accept it. If you type an email address or phone number in a form of this site, Google may receive a hashed (SHA-256) version of it to measure visits and ads more accurately. The hash cannot be turned back into the original value, and it is never shown to me.
AI assistant. The messages you send to the "Ask my AI" assistant are processed to generate its answers. Please do not share sensitive personal information in the chat.
Chat form. The name and optional email asked before the AI chat experiment are used during that conversation to personalize it.
Contact links. WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, GitHub, X, Calendly and the other profiles linked here are external services with their own privacy policies; what you share there is handled by them.
Your choices
Google Analytics measures nothing until you choose in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time from . Your choice is stored only in your browser. The visit statistics described above use no cookies and cannot identify you, so they do not depend on that choice.
You can also block Google Analytics on every site with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and ask me by email to access or delete any data related to you.
How long data is kept
Visit statistics are deleted automatically after 13 months, and the daily random value that groups the visits of one day is deleted after two days.
Google Analytics keeps the data linked to a visitor for up to 14 months and then deletes it. Reports keep only aggregated numbers.
Third parties
Google processes analytics and advertising data under its own privacy policy and explains how it uses data from sites that use its services. No data is sold.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with its date.
